Join us for our annual Run for the Springs 5k! For the first time ever, we will race at the Carney Island Recreation Area in Ocklawaha on April 27. All proceeds from the race are available to Marion County residents in the form of septic maintenance reimbursement grants. Interested participants can register online, and the registration fee is only $30. We hope to see you there!
To reduce the contamination of our aquifer and waterways, Marion County is implementing a septic-to-sewer conversion program. This program will help keep septic tanks from polluting our water table and the springs that make Marion County such a picturesque place to live, as well as offering several additional benefits to our citizens. Learn more by visiting the septic-to-sewer webpage!
